City of Casey Finalist in News.com.au Green Awards

The ANN would like to congratulate Abbie Lane and the City of Casey in the growing outer south east region of Melbourne (Victoria) for being selected as a finalist in the www.news.com.au Green Awards 2009! City of Casey have been nominated and selected for their introduction of the first nappy rebate scheme in Australia, and their annual nappy and sustainable parenting expo held around the time of Reusable Nappy Week (October each year).
